During Women’s History Month, we reflect on and revere the achievements, contributions, and resilience of women that helped pave a path for us. We use this month to also celebrate the progress made (PANTS!) and look for ways to further foster equality and equity in the future.
It's important in times of cultural change that we leaders be clear about our values. In that spirit, this post aims to share Kipsu's position on what the word meritocracy means and what our team members, applicants, customers, users and shareholders can expect of us.
Cara Sego, our Product Director, has worn many hats at Kipsu! Cara started at Kipsu shortly after graduating from college, and was able to not only build her career path, but was able to help build our Product Development team and company over the years. We sat down with Cara to learn more about her career journey finding the best-fit hat for her.

Kipsu's event, Going 7—70: Life on the inside of a fast growing startup, featured a panel of "O.G." Kipsuvians who spoke about life in a company that scaled quickly. At the TCSW closing party, Kipsu received the Voyager Award, which recognizes a startup that successfully bootstrapped their organization.

Every spring, Kipsu welcomes a new class of Analysts to our Entrepreneurial Leadership Rotation Program (ELRP). Analysts spend 12 months rotating between Kipsu's 3 core teams learning all aspects of our business. At the end of the program, Analysts are placed on a team permanently. The 2019 ELRP class just completed their first rotation, and we spoke with Emily Cox about her experience on the Customer Partnerships Team.

We had our first annual Kipsu picnic, a Kipsnic! It was an evening filled with yard games, grilling, and great conversation. The ice cream bicycle was a great hit as many people took it out for a ride. We couldn't have been happier with the amazing weather, location, and most of all, being surrounded by fellow Kipsuvians!
