During Women’s History Month, we reflect on and revere the achievements, contributions, and resilience of women that helped pave a path for us. We use this month to also celebrate the progress made (PANTS!) and look for ways to further foster equality and equity in the future.
It's important in times of cultural change that we leaders be clear about our values. In that spirit, this post aims to share Kipsu's position on what the word meritocracy means and what our team members, applicants, customers, users and shareholders can expect of us.

Last year, Maddy Dunn, a member of our Customer Partnership team, started a Kipsu Kickball team: Kicksu. Kicksu has been a great way for new or old Kipsuvians to get to know their coworkers outside of work. The Kicksu team has had some great wins and always smiles, even when they lose (mostly because of the happy hour after). We interviewed Coach Maddy Dunn and Assistant Coach Ty Jesinoski on topics from what they love most about Kipsu to how to run a successful kickball team. We also interviewed Kicksu team members on what their favorite part of Kicksu is.

I was rarely privy to the revenues of the business and I never knew what the P&L —the balance of the expenses related to the business — looked like.
On a snowy 2016 morning in Northeast Minneapolis, Eva Dixon and Drew Anunti both started their first days at a tech startup of 11 employees. Three years later, that company is now in downtown Minneapolis and has grown to more than 60 employees. Eva is now the Director of Marketing and Drew is the Vice President of Hospitality Customer Partnerships. We interviewed them on their three year Kipsu anniversary to learn more about their journeys.
