Before joining Kipsu, I was an elementary school teacher. I absolutely loved it. Teachers are the most hardworking people you will ever meet. If you know a teacher, please thank them. It was such an amazing experience being in the classroom and I've found that we are all educators in some type of way. We are always building relationships, making connections, ensuring everyone is cared for and much more! I am grateful that I am able to bring my education experience into the hospitality realm at Kipsu. Looking forward to adding more "wow" moments into my day.
I am such a dog lover. Anytime I can spend with my Mini Aussie, Sammy is a great day! If I could save all the dogs in the world, I would! Other than that, I enjoy spending time outside going on walks/hikes/etc. I'd love to go on more hikes around the world. Definitely on my bucket list to travel more and explore.
Kipsu stood out to me in many ways. As I was looking through the website, I learned a lot about what Kipsu does for their clients. This was something I learned about other companies as well when I was in my job search. However, the website showed me something that other companies did not which was what Kipsu does for their team members. Just by looking through the website, I was able to get a feel for what a day at Kipsu would feel like for me. I could instantly see that Kipsu has a great sense of community and I knew it was something I was interested in being part of. I was really nervous as I was job searching because I was making a big career change. Multiple people during the interview process told me how valuable I can be for the company because of my background. If you are going through a career change, please don't hesitate to reach out to Kipsu. They are more than willing to teach you and are extremely interested in learning from you as well. There is always something new to learn. We are all lifelong learners. I am proud to be a Kipsuvian!
The amount of kindness, patience and willingness to help was so uplifting. Starting a new job can be scary and intimidating. However, because I was able to build many different relationships throughout the interview process, I didn't feel nervous at all. Before my first day, I felt like I already knew a handful of people. On my first day, I felt very welcomed and knew I could ask anyone any questions that I had.
Working in hospitality is a different world from what I have been used to the past couple of years. I am looking forward to building relationships with different clientele. I'm also looking forward to being a leader in a sense where I can show the hospitality world how Kipsu can enhance their guests experience and their everyday work life.
I found that the core values at Kipsu closely aligned with my own passions. My favorite core value is definitely serve others. Building relationships and helping people be successful is something I am truly passionate about. I am looking forward to building those relationships with clients and helping them be successful in their world.
I feel like I have a lot of people in mind for this one. Various celebrities and influential people. Although if I could pick anyone, I would like to have dinner with someone in my family that has passed such as my grandpa on my mom's side. I would love to know more about my background from his perspective. I have heard many amazing stories but was really too young to truly understand who he was. I also would suggest that we have dinner at a seafood place with an abundance of garlic shrimp. Yum!
